The best Birthday party.....

How many times you heard that it was the best birthday party of your child? Never? Don't warry. You have still big chance. Did you try to think what our children really need? After a few years of being mother I understood: Children need Fun. Very often we try to prepare for children tasty food, we pay a lot of money for organizing party but mostly we have one problem......our children are talking what they want, we listen but we don't hear and we prepare what we think that is good. Finally we have a birthday party and we hear: Mama but I wanted TITANIC (birthday cake) and you made a car:( and?.....Ok, my suggestion is very easy: Listen your child (as Whitney Huston is singing), don't prepare too much to eat different food which is even the best according to you, concentrate on ONE BIRTHDAY CAKE and you will hear: mama it is the best birthday cake I have ever had:) Easy!

My favourite long drinks

Today I want to give you two receipts of my favourite long drinks. Sometimes we need to prepare smth very quickly but we are not sure if our friends like what we like. I made a small research among my friends and this is the result. Mojito and Sex on the beach - these are two most wanted drinks. The next days I will give you more ideas....

        ü 60 ml Cuban rum (havana club, bacardi)
Mojito
ü 1/2 limes
ü  7 mint leaves
ü sparkling water (Perrier, Badoit)
ü 2 teaspoons sugar
Prepare the recipe "Mojito" directly into the glass. Put the mint leaves in the glass, add sugar and lemon juice. Mash thoroughly to express the essence of mint without crushing it. Add rum, ice cubes and stir. Fill the remaining half glass of sparkling water. Mix gently with a straw.
OurMojito” is ready. Serve in a glass-like "tumbler". Decor: Decorate with fresh mint leaves.










Sex on the beach
  ü 20 ml vodka "Tovaritch" preferably
  ü 20 ml melon liqueur
  ü 20 ml blackberry liqueur (mûroise)
  ü 60 ml pineapple juice
  ü 60 ml cranberry juice (cranberry juice)
Make the recipe for "Sex on the beach" in a mixing glass. Pour alcohol over ice, stir and fill with fruit juice.
Serve in a glass-type "tulip glass." Decor: A piece of pineapple and a cherry.

Children like desserts...


Everybody likes desserts but the problem is that we don't like waiste a lot of time in a kitchen, so it has to be something easy and quick but looks very nice. I will give you some proposal for quick sweets for children. They are waiting really for something special:) 
                                                  
Very easy to prepare! If you have no time you can buy muffins or special cakes where you can put a whipped cream! It depends what season we have and what children like but my proposal is to make decoration with seasonal fruits, chocolate, smarties ect. Remember that children like if their cakes and healthy food look invitingly!






You can also prepare delicious muffins by yourself and serve with castor sugar (white or chocolate) or with piece of Cini Mini as on my picture.


How to make chocolate muffins:
Dry ingredients:
250 gr - flour
175 gr - castor sugar
2 big spoon cacao - good quality
2 tea spoon of baking powder
Wet ingredients:
250 ml - milk
90 ml - oil
1 big egg
extract of vanila - 1 tea spoon
time in oven: 20 - 25 min(180C)


! Mix delicately with spoon  dry and wet ingredients but remember we are putting wet to dry, never vice-versa:)
! If you prefer only vanila muffins: 2 spoon cacao change to 2 spoon of flour:)

Very easy and quick desserts, if you want to prepare Waffles (Gofr) alone it is a receipt for you:
1/2 kg - flour
3 eggs
1 glass of oil
1/2 glass of sugar
1 vanila sugar
500 ml of water (2 glass)
1 small baking powder




! Of course you need a special waffles maker, but it is wearth to invest, it doesn't cost a lot but you can prepare waffles in a different shapes, children have really fun.

After school ….

Our children are coming back home, of course they are hungry. Now it is the moment to take a good decision: what should they eat? It is very easy is to open sweets what our kids mostly like, but we have to remember that it is a pleasure only for a moment. Even if they had a healthy food  in their lunch boxes we are not sure that they have eaten everything. I propose to serve a proper meal which will be a good vitamin complement or sometimes the only one wholesome meal. We can also prepare proper meal which looks like a snackJ

Healthy lunch break for our kids!

Our kids have just started going to school and we start to have the same question every morning: what  should I put to my children’s lunch boxes. If you have this problem don’t worry, think, that at the same time all over the world there are parents who has the same question. And what is the most important, you should be happy that you can prepare the lunch box by yourself.
Healthy food but tasty good! Easy and quick to prepare because we have not time enough.  This is the answer, but it is easy to say but more difficult to do. I will give some suggestions but if you have any other ideas you are welcome to share with everybody who needs this help and who will read my blog.

Tips:
  • give your child water to drink. They don’t have to drink juices: too much sugar, when they drink before eating they will not eat almost anything, when the bottle will be not closed very well everything will be wet; books, clothes ect. when it is a water it is not so big problem.
  • be careful how you prepare food. Think about nice boxes ( special for boy and girl), we have to remember that children are taking care about this detail, especially when they are eating in group. Finally look at the lunch box and think if it looks invitingly.
  • prepared food should be easy to eat, better small parts than only one big. They don’t have to eat everything during one school break.
  • avoid putting exactly the same meal every day, try to make them surprise from time to time.

Coffee with friends:)

Your friends are coming in 30 minutes? You are before making shopping and you have no idea what to do? Ok, no panic! In 30 minutes you will have extra cakes, healthy and you will do it very quickly.

Butter Cookies (apx. 28 pieces)

Butter - 200 gr
Sugar - 60 grFlour - 250 gr
Yolk - 2 x
Cream -2 tea spoons
Baking powder - 2 tea spoons
Vanila Sugar - 2 tea spoons
Mix: Butter, Sugar, Yolk + rest
Form small balls size of walnut and finally flatten with smth with pattern (looks nice when it is ready).         
Oven: 180 C, time: 15 min
